Description The two-year Architectural Technology curriculum provides a comprehensive foundation of technical abilities, understanding or awareness involving all aspects of the architectural profession. Specifically the curriculum is designed with an emphasis on visual communication, building materials, building systems and the development of architectural graphic techniques involved in the production of architectural working drawings. Under the guidance of the faculty or professional, licensed architects, the program mission is to prepare students to; enter the employment market at an entry-level position in architecture or professions related to the built environment; Continue education for a baccalaureate degree in professions related to the built environment. Taught by practitioners, the architectural technology curriculum is unique in its emphasis on the practice of the profession.
