Description A minimum of 60 credit hours is required for the Associate in Applied Science - Heating/Ventilation/AC/Refrigeration degree. The requirements include the requirements for the Certificate - Heating/Ventilation/AC/Refrigeration plus various general education class requirements. Students who successfully complete a Certificate of Completion in HVACR will possess the following technical and cognitive knowledge and skills: 1) effectively and safely utilize tools required for the trade, 2) install various types of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems according to specifications and applicable codes, 3) troubleshoot and repair various types of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems according to specifications and applicable codes.
