Description This certificate of achievement enables a non-licensed individual to expand their knowledge of airframe maintenance practices used to maintain aircraft in accordance with the Title 14 Code of Federal Aviation Regulations. While enrolled in this program, students will learn the basic science and technical knowledge necessary to repair and maintain modern aerospace vehicle airframes. Graduates will have demonstrated technical abilities in flight control rigging and adjustment, airframe structural repair, hydraulic and pneumatic systems inspection and repair, flight control operation, fuel system maintenance and repair, airframe electrical system diagnosis and repair, and airframe inspections. Completion of this certificate may be applied to the Airframe and Powerplant License provided the student meets the requirements of the Federal Aviation Regulation Part 147.
