Description Michigan Institute of Aviation & Technology was created in response to industry demand for qualified Technicians. We offer a full-time comprehensive seven month program which will train students to maintain and repair power turbines and generators. Students will also perform mechanical and electrical component maintenance and repair or replace parts to correct malfunctions. Graduates must have the ability to work a fexible schedule all over the world, in all conditions and confined spaces, pass background checks and secure passports and thrive in a team environment.

Admission Requirements Applicants must be a high school graduate, or have a GED prior to starting classes. They must be able to pass a background check and have the ability to secure a passport. They also must achieve a math score of at least 45 and a composite score of 142 or better on the Career Programs Assessment Test to be accepted into the program.
