Description Advanced Tractor Trailer Training Course. Classes offered in Saginaw Township. The objective of this program is to prepare individuals, with little or no experience, to qualify for their Michigan Class A, Commercial Driver License. Full time course. Comprehensive training includes instruction in Classroom, Lab, Yard & Over-the-Road. Concentration of training includes City, Rural and Interstate driving procedures. Exceptional training equipment and comfortable atmosphere. Low Student to Instructor Ratio for individualized instruction. Our Mission: To properly train our students with the professionalism, skills, and knowledge to sucessfully enter the transportation industry. Admission Requirements Applicants Must Be: - At least (18) years of age to drive a commercial motor vehicle within the State of Michigan. - At least (21) years of age to drive a commercial motor vehicle out of state. Applicants Must Also: - Pass a written exam given by the Secretary of State to receive a Temporary Instruction Permit (TIP). - Be able to qualify for a CDL license through the State of Michigan. Not have had a suspended license, or felony within the last 3 years. Not have acquired 6 points on license within the last 2 years. - Be able to pass a Dept. of Transportation (DOT) Physical and drug screen.
