View Basket View Basket
Provider Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center
Date of last update 3/26/2013
Description Part of our Proprietary License Quality Management Systems program, as a cost-effective alternative to a traditional consultant-based implementation, the MMTC’s TiPS Training is designed to help companies leverage internal resources for transitioning from ISO 9001 (1994) to 2000 Quality Management System (QMS). This program is a set at a fast pace and is ideal for a company under a deadline, or wishing to transition as quickly as possible. Initially, the participants learn the fundamentals of design and use of management systems within a company, providing the foundation for commitment and leadership. Next, the TiPS Program focuses on building a conformant QMS. Participants work through the requirements of their system by creating procedures and work instructions. In addition, each company receives a template to create their own Policy Manual. Although the training is fast-paced, it provides sufficient time to work through the class instruction, case studies and company-specific course-work assignments. Throughout the training, participants will spend class time developing and understanding the core system intentions and procedures through examples and homework assignments. Each participant company will be issued a copy of the Standard, guidance documents, procedure and policy templates, session manuals and other applicable reference materials.
