Description Skilled plumbers must knowledgeably use specialized tools, read blueprints, work with various types of fittings and pipe, and size piping for waaste water, supply, drainage, and venting. Being versatile opens a wide range of employment opportunities. The Plumbing Certificate Program consists of four levels (8 courses). Basic Construction Skills is the entry course for the Certificate Program. The curriculum is designed by the industry and aligned with national competency standards.
