Description Students in the Industrial Chemistry Technology program are trained in general, organic, analytical and instrumental chemistry. In addition, specialty classes focus on the chemical industry, safety issues and statistical process control. In the second year, specialty courses in industrial chemistry train the student in procedures used in modern laboratories. All classes are taught by faculty with many years of experience in industrial chemistry. The Ferris Industrial Chemistry Technology program is one of only a few such programs approved by the American Chemical Society.
