Description In this program students develop an understanding of how mechanical systems perform. They begin by taking classes in engineering graphics and CAD, manufacturing processes and computer applications along with applied mathematics and physics. Writing and general education courses are included in the first year as well. Students are then well prepared to take the applied engineering science courses which give them a solid technical background for a future in technology. Coursework is enhanced with hands-on lab experiences and real-world applications provided by faculty with extensive industrial experience.
