Description

This course is a component of the ITA approved Office Expert CORE+4 and More Certification program. Learn how to customize paragraphs and pages by inserting custom numbers, bullets, and multi-level lists. Use proofing tools like Thesaurus, spelling and grammar check; and create a custom dictionary. Customize formatting by inserting Building Blocks; and modify themes and styles. Insert special features and references; create Table of Contents and indexes. Work with shared documents and prepare a document for distribution. Learn how to insert special features and references like creating footnotes and endnotes; inserting and modifying sources, citations, and bibliographies. Create and update indexes and table of contents, figures, and authorities. Includes MOS Word exam. This course is offered in an open entry lab format. Students attend lab at their own convenience, and with excellent instructional support, plan their program, manage their time, and complete course requirements. Courses are designed to take the average student approximately 80 hours of lab time to complete. Open lab hours are: Monday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
